Decibels are a Combat system within Zenless Zone Zero.

During combat, Decibels are displayed on the upper left section of the screen, as part of the Agent Info Panel. Decibels can be gained via various means. Once an agent has reached 3,000 Decibels, they are unable to gain more and can instead expend them to use an Ultimate. Once an Ultimate is used, the agent's Decibels will be reset to 0.

Prior to version 1.4, Decibels were shared across the entire squad and would reset to 0 for all teammates once any agent used their Ultimate. However, since 1.4, agents now have their own Decibels and can use their Ultimate without resetting the Decibels of the rest of the squad.

Gaining Decibels[]

Decibels can be gained through hitting enemies and through using specific Attacks.

Decibel Rating[]

Decibel Rating is displayed next to Decibels in the HUD at 1000 or more Decibels. It changes based on the number of Decibels the squad currently has. The color of the Decibel count and the text below the decibel changes based on the current Rating.
