Materials are a category of Item in Zenless Zone Zero. They are typically used for various leveling and upgrade processes, such as providing EXP for Agents, Bangboo, W-Engines and Drive Discs, enhancing Combat Skills and Core Skills, and crafting Drive Discs.

Players can acquire Materials through various methods:
- Commissions: Completing main story episodes, agent stories, and side commissions.
- Exploration: Within certain Districts and certain commissions, players may find Mini Cargo Trucks, containing various materials.
- Events: Participating in limited-time events will offer various materials.
