Sacrifices are a special type of Ether Active entity capable of operating outside the Hollow. Their creation appears to be the result of human manipulation. They were once people that have trascended their humanity by attaining the Refinement sought by The Exaltists. Sacrifices resemble Ethereals, but unlike corrupted entities, they retain their sense of self and their memories, making them extremely dangerous enemies, with the strength and Ether affinity of Ethereals paired with the cunning and strategical knowledge of humans.
