
Stats govern the combat in Zenless Zone Zero. They affect aspects such as how often the player is able to use their Agents' abilities, how powerful they will be, and their survivability.
Agent Stat Calculation[]
Most stats (ATK, HP, DEF, Impact, Anomaly Proficiency, Anomaly Mastery, Energy Regen) start with a base value, and can be further increased by bonuses. Base value is gained naturally when Agents and W-Engines are leveled, as well as from leveling up Core Passives.
Stat bonuses are divided into two categories: unconditional bonuses (e.g. stats from Drive Discs, secondary stats of W-Engines) and conditional bonuses (e.g. buffs provided by Agent skills, set bonuses of Drive Discs, buffs from eating at the Noodle Shop). When a character enters combat, all unconditional bonuses are first applied and stats are frozen. When additional in-combat bonuses are gained, they use the frozen stats as base.

For the remaining stats (CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, PEN, Pen Ratio, DMG Bonus), all bonuses are additive.
