Etymology[]
- The Chinese title of this Exclusive Channel is taken from the second verse of the poem 代白頭吟 Dài Báitóu Yín by writer Bao Zhao, who lived during the Northern and Southern Dynasties period. This verse in particular prescribes that a person of ideals and integrity must be as unsullied and uncorrupted as the ice that forms inside a jade jug. The verse is actually 清如玉壺冰 qīng rú yù hú bīng, but Zenless Zone Zero has adapted it to use Qingyi's 青 Qīng as the first character instead, playing on the homophony of the two words. Moreover, the choice of the title reflects Qingyi's tie to jade, since has several jade objects, from her hair decorations to the tea set she uses in her Dynamic Wallpaper, and her W-Engine Ice-Jade Teapot, which is a reference to this verse, too.
- This title is thus parallel to Zhu Yuan's Exclusive Channel Unswerving Bullet, with which it completes the poem's first couplet 直如朱絲繩，清如玉壺冰 zhí rú zhū sī shéng, qīng rú yù hú bīng.
